Meet Dr. Lindsay Blass
Licensed Psychologist & Mental Health Advocate
I consider myself very lucky to have developed a passion for psychology early in life. As a child with anxiety myself, I knew I wanted to work in a field where I could “help kids with their anxiety”. I grew up on Long Island and received my B.A. with honors in psychology from Mount Holyoke College. I went on to obtain my M.S. in School Psychology and Psy.D. in Combined School-Clinical Psychology at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in the Bronx. I completed my graduate internship at NYU Child Study Center and postdoctoral training in the Center for Child Development at Queens Hospital Center, where I eventually served as Program Director. I then spent several years in northern Virginia, where I worked on the Early Childhood Assessment Team at Fairfax County Public Schools as well as in private practice. After moving to Fairfield County, I worked briefly at The Soifer Center in White Plains and then the Southfield Center in Darien while developing my private practice in Westchester and Fairfield counties.
I currently see patients for testing and therapy in person in my Westport, CT office. I also have an office in Larchmont, NY, where I schedule patients for testing. I am licensed in Connecticut, New York, and Florida, and I maintain an active PSYPACT® license, which allows me to see patients via telehealth in all participating states. In my free time, I enjoy taking in local theatre, going to the beach, and spending time with my husband, our two sons, and our highly active golden retriever.
